A quality Sunday

Aside from my lovely wife being locked in the hospital, I couldn't have written a better script for this past Sunday which started off with a trip to K-country with Jack and the kiwis...

Jack never leaves home without a gormet meal in the backpack.

Thanks to the kiwis for making this trip a reality.

As we drove home, calls came in from several different sources regarding a spontaneous weiner roast. Thanks to Al for orchestrating.

Romy has been working on his walking lately, and decided to put on a show for everyone.

P Daddy in the house

After a hiatus from the back-country, P-daddy made an appearance on Black Prince. Legs are hurtin' today but the spirits are high.

Brunch at the Maudies

The dynamics have changed a bit in the past couple of years with a bunch of new additions... in place of talk about new skis, mountain bikes etc. there are discussions about the best minivans, and strollers on the market. It takes a bit more effort us all together, but it's that much more rewarding when this great group of friends can pull together.

Thanks to the Maudies for hosting

It's only fitting that Jack give this Newfie the "fish hook"

I can't believe how gentle Kate is with Jack. Even after he tried some wrestling moves on her.

Various Feb photos

Finn's b-day party: AL informed me that it's a big mistake to grab the sleeve of a plaid-wearing Kotenay man...Jack learned his lesson that day. That was dirty Romy.

Kyle showed his displeasure when Finn told him he wanted to become a goaltender...well you can see the effect it had on the little man, and hearing that he was dissapointing his dad....

Trip to Golden
Managed to get out for a really nice day in Roger's pass. It's not often the bluebirds are flying, but we were lucky enough to see some of the places that we always new were back there somewhere.
Kip, looking solid...

Kip's special arse in pow landing.

It was great to hook up with Andrea and Dave. These two are living the life in Golden.

Heather as a great eye, and she managed to capture some sweet photos of the little man like the next two with mom and Jill.

Various tours

Jack has been recently working on his vertical...rumour has, his mom had some good ups back in her university days. Andrea England might have a thing or two to say about it, as she claims that Jill was stuffed by her in the Acadia/Mount A matches. Regardless, Jack is showing some promise....watch the vid below and see what you think.

Trip to Burstall Pass

We've been lucky enough to get out to the mountains in the last few weekends. Jack's sled has undergone a few modifications...not sure if LLbean would be happy about these or not.
