Back to the land of warm family, eternal rain, and 5$ lobsters!

So, we made it back to the homeland. Jill and I both embarked on journeys toward Halifax with a mix of emotions. As I pulled out of Calgary with the loaded civic's frame scraping the pavement the reality struck that I was leaving some amazing folks behind. Thankyou to all of our friends for making our stay in Calgary such a wonderful journey.

My last view of the mountains...sad day

As for ous trip, I have to thank some other great folks who made driving/flying across country so much more enjoyable....

The Bentlers in Montana

Rod, Anna, and Oscar in Minnesota
The Traggios in CT
The Aversa's in CT
Rob, Cath, and Oliva in Montreal

June/July catch up

The little man is walking!

Hiking with Brian and Heemsy

Tracher's Weding
It was aquick trip to Lake Placid New York for Tracher's wedding. It was worth any travel stress to get a chance to hang out with great friends and my folks....

En route to Placid we got to hang with Kath, Rob and Olivia. Thanks for everything!

Good looking crew here...I think we could still pass as freshmen at Brown...Just don't look at the top of our heads...

Mom and dad at the cocktail party.

The day before the wedding

Verse and Sepi looking good...
Who knows what Tracher is telling Monique...it's obvious that she is also someone who can appreciate the unplanned humour that is Tracher.

Jack and Chloe's birthday's
Jack and Chloe were born two days apart...shortly following a 13 km hike by their mothers

Camping for Jack's Birthday
Three days of camping with Jack...can't say it was always easy, but it was memorable for us, and we got some beautiful hikes in.
Lake Louise...just an "easy walk" through the death trap away from Abbot Pass

Aislin, Hugh and Leslie met us out in Banff for some camping
The first time I've ever seen Jack sit still for more than 30 seconds

Some Pics from May

The weather in May has been welcome....even the rain. Jack has utilized the outdoor time to perfect his footwork with the help of several different gait devices. As you would expect, like any young boy he went straight for puddles.

Andre and Jack showing off their boots

Biking the Goat Creek trail
Jack showed his rugged side once again so that mom and dad could have a day in the mountains
Jack is a little sour that my shocks have a bit more travel than his.

A day in Canmore with the Simson family
Aislin will sit in her basket for extended periods and just survey the action. It also alowed her a chance to be away from the grasp of Jack
