Jack photos/ Christmas in Cranny

Here are a few recent photos of the little man for the folks at home, followed by our Christmas trip to Cranbrook.

In the photo below, Jack has on a jersey given to us by our good friends Kip and Heather. The little man looks pretty comfortable in the country's colors. I swear that I haven't pushed the fact that I would like Jack to try his hand at hockey...I may have mailed his height and weight projections to central scouting, but that's not really a big deal....

Once again, the Maudies made us and the Kiwis part of their extended family for Christmas this year. We jumped at the opportunity as usual, especially as we may not be in the west next year for the holidays. As usual, great times were had...sorry about all the pics, but it was hard to taper down

Christmas Day Skate/Ski

Karl and I were working the puck around pretty well, despite the old animal/human prints left on our sheet of ice. The Kiwi didn't let it deter him, as he wheeled gracefully around the rink.

Thanks for the sled Mary and Gerald!

Boxing Day WIENER Roast

Not sure who had the idea for this one, but it was damn brilliant. At any rate, after epic preparations to get al the kids/gear loaded, we headed out for a ski/snow shoe tour, and weiner roast.

Below, is the rough terrain modification to the LL bean sled...it held up well and kept Jack nice and toasty.
