Last weekend we had the good fortune to work with a Czech skier at the world cup in Lake Louise. Seen below, Jack was pretty pumped about the oportunity to stay at the Chateau and be able to "starfish" between us on a king size bed.

one half of team Czech...I'm happy to say that Ondrej just came third in the Super combined at Beaver Creek, Colorado taking down the likes of Bode Miller.

The King and Queen of the Chateau

On the last day we managed to get out on the ice...Jill and Andre worked on their faceoff skills. All I'm going to say is that my wife has a quick stick....

Josh set a record for the world's longest breakaway. A long way to go to miss the net and dump it in the corner...

Leslie and Andre out for an afternoon stroll.

Hugh...livin' the Canadian dream

Visions of Lake Fletcher back in Nova Scotia come to mind...this is where mom and dad first put me on the double blades. Never thought I'd ever be doing crossovers down the lake while pushing a chariot with my son on board...well, hope he didn't inherit my hands!
